Samantha Soppa (she/her) earned her master’s degree in Science of Community Psychology from Alverno College. She has over 5 years of clinical experience working with teens, families and adults who have struggled with anxiety, depression, substance misuse, OCD, and personality disorders. She has experience working in outpatient, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization settings. Samantha incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered theories, psychoeducation, and mindfulness techniques. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of successful treatment and identifies strengths in each individual with a non-judgmental style. Her approach is genuine, open-minded, and compassionate. She strives to help others meet their goals through the encouragement of self-compassion, education, and skill-building.
